Memorable Monday: Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Join us in this weekly Memorable Monday meme, hosted by us here at Escape In A Book.  Come and share a quote(or quotes) with us that you feel deserves a place in the spotlight. Today I've picked a coupe of quotes from one of my favorite reads, Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor(check out my review).

One of my favorite covers ever!
Cover: ©Little, Brown & Company.

Most anticipated sequel ever?
Days of Blood & Starlight(DoS&B #2) is right there at the very top of my "I-can't-wait-to-get-my-hands-on-this-on-release-date-COME-NOW!"-list. It is about time that I remind myself and you guys of why I'm so eagerly waiting to get my greedy little hands on this sequel. I hope I'll also be able to tempt those who have yet to read Daughter of Smoke & Bone. This is the amazingness that is Laini Taylor's writing:

Hope can be a powerful force. Maybe there's no actual magic in it, but when you know what you hope for most and hold it like a light within you, you can make things happen, almost like magic.
Hope is a powerful, invaluable force. It's just like everyday magic for us non-magical beings :)
She craved a presence beside her, solid. Fingertips light at the nape of her neck and a voice meeting hers in the dark. Someone who would wait with an umbrella to walk her home in the rain, and smile like sunshine when he saw her coming. Who would dance with her on her balcony, keep his promises and know her secrets, and make a tiny world wherever he was, with just her and his arms and his whisper and her trust.
This is quite literally the dream of every human being, at least those of us who are fortunate enough to live someplace where enough food and clean water is a given(we must never forget to be grateful for what we got!). Anyways I hope you decide to join me with some wonderful, provoking, funny, worst ever, cute or any kind quote you might feel like sharing this Monday.
