Memorable Monday: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

Love a good quote? Why not share a quote in our Memorable Monday meme? Leave a link to your blogpost in the widget below.

Today I'm sharing a quote with you from the epic fantasy novel called The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Rothfuss is one heck of a storyteller and wordsmith I have yet to see something similiar too, Laini Taylor is a good second :) This is a fantasy not to be missed! The book is filled with great quotes and wonderful passages and the quote below is just one of many:

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.

Who can disagree with that?! Ok, so I just couldn't resist adding a second quote, it's just lovely!

My parents danced together, her head on his chest. Both had their eyes closed. They seemed so perfectly content. If you can find someone like that, someone who you can hold and close your eyes to the world with, then you're lucky. Even if it only lasts for a minute or a day. The image of them gently swaying to the music is how I picture love in my mind even after all these years.
I hope I've managed to persuade you to pick up an excellent book now ;) By the way I know I'm late but we've spent the day with our family, official Easter holiday in Norway and this was the last day.

Want to know participate in this meme or find out more? Just read this post. A very short and easy read guide can be found below my quote of the week. It's a real pleasure to read all kinds of wonderful quotes on a Monday.
