Saltwater Vampires - Teaser Tuesday

There were four of them. Even though he'd never seen them before, he knew who they were, and for a moment he was so scared he thought he was going to piss himself. Every instinct he possessed recognized that they were his natural predators.

I discovered this book over at The Book Nerd Club(check out the review) and it sounded great! The only problem was that it was difficult to get hold of. I contacted the author and found out why, it's only, yet, been released in Australia. Kirsty Eager was so kind and helped me find an Australian book store that shipped to Norway :D

It's a great read and I love the fact that the vampires is connected to an historical event, the mutiny and the massacre that took place among the survivor of the Batavia shipwreck survivors in 1629. The story is set in modern day Australia. I'm almost finished so there will be a review up for this book shortly. In the meantime you could check out the book trailer:
